For military personnel:
Positions with United States Africa Command are filled through the normal military assignment process in accordance with procedures for staffing a Joint Headquarters. Please contact your assignments or branch manager.
For Civilian workers:
Currently, United States Africa Command civilian positions are filled through the federal government’s competitive hiring process. Vacancies are listed at www.usajobs.opm.gov. U.S. Africa Command civilian positions fall under the National Security Personnel System.
For Interagency personnel:
Some United States Africa Command positions are being filled by current, experienced employees of other federal agencies outside the Department of Defense. Guidelines for staffing those positions are being developed by individual federal agencies.
For non-U.S or non-federal employees:
