CJTF-HOA gathers for Defense Attaché conference in Uganda

Ms. Leigh Caraher, lead humanitarian assistance advisor from U.S. Africa Command United States Aid for International Development Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance, presented a regional humanitarian assistance update during the 2017 East African Senior Defense Official/Defense Attaché Conference in Kampala, Uganda on Oct. 18, 2017. She addressed regional access issues which have prevented delivering of assistance to East Africa locations. Subject matter experts from a variety of government agencies discussed military partnership opportunities that enhance security and stability throughout East Africa.
