AFRICOM hosts Infectious Disease Strategic Planning Workshop

Maureen Bartee, associate director for Global Health Security, Center for Global Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, shares information during a group discussion at the Infectious Disease Strategic Planning Workshop on Patch Barracks in Stuttgart, Germany, Sept. 6, 2019. The CDC was one of several U.S. government organizations in attendance during the three day event where they discussed AFRICOM's intermediate objective for the AFRICOM Theater Campaign Plan.
