Supporting the USAID-led Operation United Assistance
U.S. service members, consisting of Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors and Marines, are working everyday supporting the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)-led Operation United Assistance. U.S. Africa Command is also supporting the effort by providing command and control, logistics, training and engineering assets to contain the Ebola virus outbreak in West African nations.
