Gen. Langley makes first visit to North Africa as commander

Gen. Langley, commander, and Sgt. Maj. Thresher, senior enlisted leader, laid a wreath at the North Africa American Cemetery & Memorial in Carthage, Tunisia, during a recent trip to honor the final resting place for 2,841 American soldiers who served during World War II. The visit to Tunisia began with a visit to Morocco and was Langley's third to Africa since taking command.

Led by U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), JA26 integrates approximately 1,500 personnel from Djibouti, Kenya, Tanzania, the United States and several other nations to build readiness, deepen partnerships and strengthen regional security.
