Mission

U.S. Africa Command's directorate for intelligence, in concert with interagency and international partners, manages and executes all aspects of defense intelligence to disrupt transnational threats, protect U.S. personnel and facilities, prevent and mitigate conflict, and build defense capabilities in order to promote regional stability and prosperity.

The directorate is committed to providing the most accurate, detailed and relevant information and knowledge to the command with a team (including personnel in Molesworth, U.K., and MacDill Air Force Base, Florida) comprised of dedicated, customer-focused individuals.

Vision

The Intelligence directorate is the premier center of excellence for products and services used to mitigate common threats, provide for security, and reinforce the rule of law. It achieves the highest level of information awareness through dynamic knowledge dominance and global partnerships in support of current and future operational and engagement activities.
