ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia - Asmeron Girma, webmaster for the African Union, shows the organization's new web site design to a team of communications specialists from U.S. Africa Command, during a visit to the African Union July 21, 2009. The five person team came to Addis Ababa for four days to assess the communication capabilities of the African Union and to offer advice on how the international organization can improve its ability to share information with audiences throughout the world. U.S. Africa Command sent the team to Ethiopia at the request of the U.S. Mission to the African Union as part of a cooperation agreement between the mission and the African Union Commission. The team included Defense Media Activity broadcast engineers from Riverside, California, Vicenza, Italy and Manheim, Germany and representatives from U.S. Africa Command's Outreach Directorate and Office of Public Affairs.
