VICTORIA, Seychelles - Oil Spill Preparedness and Response workshop participants gather for a photo during the workshop held September 22-24, 2010. The event was opened by the U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Mauritius and the Republic of Seychelles, Mary Jo Wills (center). During the workshop, members of the Seychelles and Mauritius Coast Guard and police Forces along with representatives from key disaster management organizations and other agencies, met to exchange information on oil spill response procedures and the potential impact of spills on maritime and environmental safety and security.
