GULU, Uganda (January 25, 2008) - Francis Otto, a veterinary assistant, fills his injection gun with a rabies solution during a Veterinary Civic Action Program at an Internally Displaced Personnel Camp in Gulu, Uganda, January 25. Ugandan veterinary teams, assisted by U.S. soldiers, treated more than 30,000 animals during the visit, which ended February 2. Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa, based in Djibouti, provides resources to support an animal healthcare program executed by the Gulu and Amuru District Officers and their staff at more than 40 IDP Camps in Northern Uganda.
