United Accord

United Accord is a command post exercise (CPX) designed to enhance U.S. and African partner nations' capabilites and interoperabiltiy within the framework of United Nations Multidemensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) troop-contributing countries.

UA17 seeks to exercise and assess participants' capability to maintain internal security, provide security asistance to external partners, and support peace operations (PO), humanitarian assistance,a nd disaster response throughout the continent of Africa.

Invited countries include Benin, Burkina Faso, Cote D'Ivoire, Chad, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo.

UA will be hosted in Accra, Ghana in 2017.
