Djibouti Armed Forces (FAD) service members set up an Africa Data Sharing Network (ADSN) satellite during training validation Sept. 28, 2016, at FAD Headquarters in Djibouti. While conducting the best practices training, the U.S. Army, assigned to Combined Joint Task-Horn of Africa, also held an ADSN validation with the FAD soldiers to prepare them to deploy to Somalia. The ADSN provides network and Voice over Internet Protocol capabilities between the several African countries participating in the Africa Union Mission in Somalia. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
