As part of a State Partnership Program visit, Lieutenant General Peter Blay, Ghanaian Armed Forces, and Major General David Sprynczynatyk, North Dakota adjutant general, and other key staff members spent time with soldiers from Detachment 2 of the 191st Military Police Company, April 17, 2010.

During the visit to Raymond, J. Bohn Armory in Bismarck, Sergeant 1st Class Troy L. Skelton, discussed the mission of the military police and talked about the training provided to soldiers.

Staff Sergeant Dane A. Severinson talked about the Beam Hit system which uses laser technology to improve users' rifle marksmanship without using ammunition. Specialist Ayana C. Hartman and Specialist Lindsay Suko demonstrated zeroing the weapon while Severinson explained the proper procedure. Leaders from the Ghanaian Armed Forces, including Blay, Captain Abbey, Forces Sergeant Major Yaw Adu and Colonel George Biah, took turns at the training and gained a better understanding of how the Beam Hit system benefits troops.

Blay also participated in a demonstration of an Armored Security Vehicle (ASV). The Military Police unit conducts ASV familiarization on a regular basis in preparation for real-world deployments and missions.

Blay and his staff expressed gratitude for the opportunity to participate in training with the 191st Military Police Company, and the Detachment 2 soldiers enjoyed being able to share their knowledge and training with fellow Soldiers from another country.
