Greetings Team Air Force-Stuttgart!

We have received formal approval, thanks to the hard work and dedication of Sergeant Major Luis Bispo and support of the Garrison, to stand-up a local Civil Air Patrol (CAP) unit here in the Stuttgart Military Community.

We have an approved location for the CAP unit to meet weekly, on Mondays, at the Religious Education Center (REC) on Patch from 5:30-7 p.m. Regular meetings will start at the beginning of the school year.

We're looking for a few Airmen to stand up and volunteer to assist in the kick-off of the CAP. I will host the initial kick-off meeting to help launch the CAP. The meeting will be at 2 p.m. July 30 in Building 3305, SPP Conference Room #123 (across from the old Chapel and the old Dining Facility on Kelley Barracks).

The stand-up of a Civil Air Patrol unit will be a wonderful career enlightenment opportunity for future potential Airmen and aviation enthusiasts in Stuttgart.
