Subject: Demonstration & March, Stuttgart, Germany; Protest August 13, 2010

BOTTOM LINE: There is a Demonstration in downtown Stuttgart on August 13, 2010 from approximately 2000-2200 hours.

WHAT: A Demonstration organized by the "Buendnis gegen Stuttgart 21" (Alliance against Stuttgart 21[an alliance of various German citizen initiatives]) will conduct a demonstration by forming a human chain around the Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station), located at Arnulf-Klett-Platz 2, in 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.

WHERE: The Demonstration is planned to begin at the Main Train Station (Hauptbahnhof).

WHEN: On Friday, August 13 2010, from 2000 to 2200 hours.

WHY: The purpose of this demonstration is to protest the construction of a new Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof. Approximately 5,000 - 10,000 people are expected to participate.

All U.S. personnel are advised to avoid these areas during the times of the scheduled Demonstration.
