Pfennig Bazaar in need of volunteers and baked goods: Oct. 21-23 Volunteers are still needed for the upcoming 42nd Annual Pfennig Bazaar, hosted by the German-American Women's Club. Set up will be Oct 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and the sale will run Oct. 22 from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Oct. 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Van drivers and set-up and tear-down personnel are needed as well as volunteers on the floor. Make a Difference Day looking for volunteers: Oct. 22-23 Make a Difference Day is a national day of helping others -- a celebration of neighbors helping neighbors. Here in U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart, the theme is "do something for your neighbor." Volunteers are needed to participate in garrison projects on Oct. 22-23, such as assisting in a local soup kitchen, caring for animals at pet shelters or picking up litter along a designated road.
