1: All large and small donated items can be listed in a special area title ("FREE") on the www.stuttgartyardsales.com website. If you wish to donate items via this website, go to the website and list your item under this area. (Several individuals have already posted their donated items, so you can see an example -- go to the bottom of the left hand column under "FREE" -- click on that link and there you will see several listings). If you don't already have an account at this website, you'll need to register (a very simple process) as a member of the website.

Once you have registered, you can then list your item under the "FREE" category and title the item along the lines of "For Fire Victims".

This mechanism is a perfect way for the families affected by the fires to communicate with you directly about their needs based on the items you have available. If you list items that must be picked up, please make that clear in your advertisement. Families affected by the fire can also list their specific needs in this area as well.

2: SCSC's Thrift Shop on Patch (across from the Beauty Shop) will take any donated items. They have a separate storage area (the Pfennig Bazaar sorting room area) designated just for this purpose. Individuals may drop off donated items starting 06 Nov (Sat) from 1000-1400 and Mon/Wed/Fri 10-2:00 and Thur 3-7:00 pm. Families affected by the fire will be able go into this area to pick out items they need. This will be a perfect time for Families to use their $50.00 gift certificates that was in your packet at the first Town hall meeting.
