African-born officer gets back to his roots with Cameroon mission

First Lt. Soule Malame, of Task Force Toccoa, a 101st Airborne Division-led unit based in Garoua, Cameroon, uses his cultural identity to be a key part of the mission. Led by U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), JA26 integrates approximately 1,500 personnel from Djibouti, Kenya, Tanzania, the United States and several other nations to build readiness, deepen partnerships and strengthen regional security.
