African military legal experts participate in "law of armed conflict" conference

Military and academic legal experts from around the world were invited to discuss issues in the law of armed conflict at the 4th annual Maj. Gen. John L. Fugh and Multinational Interoperability Symposium, conducted at The Judge Advocate General Legal Center and School in Charlottesville, Va., May 28-29, 2018. Center is Ms. June Chung, Maj. Gen. Exercise Justified Accord 2026 (JA26), U.S. Africa Command’s largest annual, multinational exercise in East Africa, officially begins today across Djibouti, Kenya and Tanzania. Led by U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), JA26 integrates approximately 1,500 personnel from Djibouti, Kenya, Tanzania, the United States and several other nations to build readiness, deepen partnerships and strengthen regional security.
