U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Mohawk crew calls port in The Gambia, Sierra Leone

U.S. Coast Guard Lt. Cmdr. Joseph Haynsworth, executive officer, works with Gambian Navy Warrant Officer Modou Lamin Sam, an embarked liaison officer, aboard the Famous-class medium endurance cutter USCGC Mohawk while underway in the Atlantic Ocean, July 23, 2022. USCGC Mohawk is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. Naval Forces Africa area of operations, employed by U.S. Sixth Fleet to defend U.S., allied, and partner interests.
