USAFE-AFAFRICA commander visits Niger, Africa

U.S. Air Force Gen. James Hecker, U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa, commander, greets members of the 409th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron during a base visit at Air Base 201, Niger, Oct. 29, 2022. Hecker was briefed on force protection along with a perimeter tour to better understand the installation’s significant improvements as well as ongoing challenges.

U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Africa Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTAC) traveled from Vicenza, IT to Atar, Mauritania and conducted ground to air training with Mauritanian Air Force personnel.
