Gen. Langley makes first visit to Angola as commander Nov. 11

U.S. Africa Command Commander Gen. Michael Langley discusses military medicine with Angola Brig. Gen. Armando Pinto and Ms. Francisca dos Reis, U.S. Embassy Office of Security Cooperation Program Assistant, during a visit to the Principle Military Hospital and Superior Institute of Medicine in Luanda, Angola, on Nov. 10. Langley, the U.S. Africa Command commander, was in Angola to discuss security cooperation with senior Angolan defense officials.

Led by U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), JA26 integrates approximately 1,500 personnel from Djibouti, Kenya, Tanzania, the United States and several other nations to build readiness, deepen partnerships and strengthen regional security.
