Logistics professionals synchronize operations and build partner capacity in Africa

U.S. Africa Command's logistics directorate brought together professionals from across the U.S. government to synchronize logistics operations and build partner capacity in Africa from Nov. 16-17, 2022, at Kelley Barracks, near Stuttgart, Germany. Gen. Michael Langley, commander, U.S. Africa Command highlighted the importance of building a strong and resilient logistics network in Africa.

Lapse In Appropriations

The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sept. 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status, without pay, until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.
