U.S., Angola conclude inaugural military medical exercise

Capt. Claudia McDermott (right), emergency room registered nurse and commander, 357th Forward Resuscitative Surgical Detachment, converses with members of the Angolan Army medical staff during a medical lecture for MEDREX Angola 23-1, held at the Hospital Militar Principal in Luanda, Angola. The Angolan Medical Readiness Exercise is a medical training exercise that allows military medical personnel from the U.S. Army and their African partners to exchange medical practices procedures and techniques.
