U.S., Seychelles naval units conduct dive and salvage engagement
The U.S. Embassy in Senegal is collaborating with the Seychelles Ports Authority and the Seychelles Coast Guard to host a 13-person dive and salvage team from Commander Task Force 68 from Dec. 3-22, 2022. On Dec. 10, 2022, journalists in Seychelles were invited to watch some of the action at the Dive and Salvage Engagement.

The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sept. 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status, without pay, until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law.
