Joint Forces Command – United Assistance service members, deployed to Barclay Training Center, Monrovia, Liberia, take a tour of the Liberian National Museum, Jan. 20, 2015, in Monrovia. The JFC-UA sponsored museum visit was initiated to allow service members deployed in support of Operation United Assistance to more fully understand and experience Liberian culture. The museum has three floors, each one dedicated to a different medium. The third floor displays prints of historic photos. Operation United Assistance is a Department of Defense operation in Liberia to provide logistics, training and engineering support to U.S. Agency for International Development-led efforts to contain the Ebola virus outbreak in western Africa.
