AFRICOM honors Women's Equality Day

U.S. Africa Command honored Women’s Equality Day Aug 26 by hosting several virtual panels to discuss women's experiences and the improvements towards equality within the military. Army Gen. Stephen J. Townsend, AFRICOM combatant commander, provided opening remarks and explained the important of the panels.
