ALGIERS - U.S. Marine Corps Gen Michael Langley, Commander of U.S. Africa Command, conducted his third visit to Algeria on January 22, 2025, signing a Military Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

The signing occurred together with the Algerian Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff to the National People’s Army, General Saïd Chanegriha.

The visit and signing of the MOU between the United States and Algeria illustrate our two countries’ shared vision to strengthen regional and international peace and stability through strategic dialogue.
