Operating from Vicenza, Italy, U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa, conducts sustained security engagement with African land forces to promote security, stability, and peace.

Mission

As the U.S. Army component for U.S. Africa Command, U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa, strengthens the land force capabilities of African states and regional organizations, provides command and control in the land domain, strengthens partnerships, sets the theater, and conducts security force assistance to support U.S. Africa Command operations.
