Military and academic legal experts from around the world were invited to discuss issues in the law of armed conflict at the 4th annual Maj. Gen. John L. Fugh and Multinational Interoperability Symposium, conducted at The Judge Advocate General Legal Center and School in Charlottesville, Va., May 28-29, 2018. Center is Ms. June Chung, Maj. Gen. In coordination with the Federal Government of Somalia, U.S. forces, in an advise-and-assist capacity, partnered in a Somali-led operation to disrupt and degrade al-Shabaab's terrorist network near Bulcida, Somalia, May 9, 2018, as previously released.
In coordination with the Libyan Government of National Accord, U.S. forces conducted a precision airstrike near Bani Walid, Libya, on June 6, 2018, killing four ISIS-Libya militants.
